The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has partnered with the New York State Office of Mental Health to develop a film to educate high school students about depression, the leading risk factor for suicide in both adults and teens. Presenting vignettes of four teens who were treated for depression, this 26-minute film aims to teach adolescents to recognize depression in themselves or their friends, and to encourage them to seek help.

The film was co-produced by AFSP and the award-winning Break Thru Films. It is listed in the Best Practices Registry for Suicide Prevention and endorsed by the National Association of School Psychologists.
